The Feast of the Epiphany

From the Rector

O God, you have bound us together in a common life. Help us,
in the midst of our struggles for justice and truth, to confront
one another without hatred or bitterness, and to work
together with mutual forbearance and respect; through Jesus
Christ our Lord, Amen.
"In Times of Conflict,"
The Book of Common Prayer, p. 824

Dear parishioners and friends of St. Dunstan's,

In light of the deeply disturbing events at the US Capitol this afternoon, I invite and encourage us all to come together in prayer this evening. Under any other circumstances I would have opened the church tonight for a time of vigil for our country: While COVID prevents us from gathering in person, I urge you to join me and our sisters and brothers from Redeemer for Compline (Nighttime Prayer) via Zoom, beginning at 8 p.m. To join the service, please use this link; Meeting ID: 754 5686 5769.

I hope you will take this opportunity to come together to connect to your fellow parishioners and ask God's mercy and intervention in the midst of this crisis.

Please stay safe, and please do not hesitate to reach out for support during this very difficult time.

Sincerely,

The Reverend Patricia Phaneuf Alexander, Rector
