Small Groups

The vestry of St. Dunstan’s has committed to the forming of Small Groups so that members of the community will deepen their relationships with each other and Christ. All small groups are expected to spend some time reflecting on scripture when they gather. If nothing interests you in these offerings, speak with Jeff or Sue about initiating a new small groups.  The possibilities are limitless.

Glimpses of God
Meets the 1st Tuesday of every month 7:30-9:00 p.m. at the church.
Purpose: to share with one another glimpses of God in our lives, through stories and experiences.

Economic Justice Group
Meets every 2 weeks at the church.
Purpose: Studies moral societal issues around growing economic inequality, and what might be done to ameliorate it.

Men’s Group
First Saturday of each month, 9-10:30 a.m.
Meets in the church kitchen
Purpose: A men’s spirituality discussion, open to all men. Led by Don Baker.

Soul Sisters
Meets the 3rd Friday each month, 7:30 – 9:00 p.m. in the parlor
Purpose: a women’s spirituality and discussion group, open to all women. Topics vary from month to month.  Shared leadership

Campus Ministry at American University

Parishioners share worship, meals, and discussions with A.U. students in the Anglican/Episcopal Student Fellowship on occasional Tuesday evenings.  Contact: Jeff MacKnight
