Weekly Compline at 8:30 p.m.!
Please join us this evening, October 7, at 8:30 p.m. as we continue our weekly rhythm of praying Compline, an ancient (and short ~ 15 minutes) service for the end of the day.

To participate via Zoom, please click on this link (Meeting ID: 570 537 096). Come and see!

Next Sunday's Worship

Join us
this Sunday, October 11
for Holy Eucharist on the church grounds
(weather-permitting)!

For contact tracing purposes, all those attending this service must register and sign the Regathering Covenant and Liability Waiver (electronically) each time before coming to worship.

Registration will close at 7 p.m. on SATURDAY, October 10
(note later day/time).

We also need your help! If you are planning to attend worship in person and can lend a hand setting up, cleaning up, or participating in the service, please click HERE.
(Liturgy is the "work of the people," and many people, working together, make the load lighter for everyone!)

The service will be live-streamed,
with the recording sent out by email later in the day.

Position Opening

St. Dunstan's is now accepting applications for a part-time Director of Children, Youth, and Family Ministries! This is an exciting development in the life of our parish, and I am confident that, even now, God is raising up just the right person to come and minister among us.

I also am a firm believer in the power of networking, and I hope that you will help the Vestry and me spread the word about this new opportunity. Please consider sharing this position description with anyone whom you think might be interested in applying. Feel free to reach out to me with any questions - or, even better, to volunteer to serve on the Search Committee!

Thursday Afternoon: Book Group
The St. Dunstan's Book Group meets on the second Thursday of each month via Zoom, and we would love to have you join us! Please see the box above for information about this month's discussion and upcoming reads.

Friday Afternoon: Friday Fellowship
Join your St. Dunstan's friends for an hour or so of connection and conversation! Use this Zoom link on Friday, October 9, at 5 p.m.  (Meeting ID: 842 3801 8662). Drop in and say "hi" whenever you're able!

Saturday Morning: Soul Sisters and Men's Group
It will be a spiritual abundance of riches this Saturday, October 10, as both the Soul Sisters and Men's Group gather for separate Zoom meetings:

The Men's Group gathering will begin at 9 a.m., and the discussion will start at 9:30. Feel free to join whenever you are able. This month's topic will be, "How do we follow Jesus' commandment to love one another - and love our enemies - in this polarized environment?" Use this Zoom link to join the meeting, and do not hesitate to reach out to John Wyss for more information about the St. Dunstan's Men's Group.

Soul Sisters will meet from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., also via Zoom. Our topic this month will be “Heading Into Darkness.” For most of the 7 months we’ve been sequestered by COVID-19, it has at least been bright and warm weather. We could get outside for a change of scene, or at least look out the window and see the blooms of spring or lush summer growth. But now we’re heading into the dark, short days of autumn and winter. And, many of us are struggling with dark, heavy feelings: rage, terror, despair. What have we learned from 2020 so far, that might help us in the months ahead? What can we do to help each other get through this?

Join the meeting using this link. This month you will need to use both the Meeting ID (705 712 806) and the Passcode (266823). All St. Dunstan's women (and friends!) are welcome to join this time of prayer, reflection, connection, and support. For more information about the Soul Sisters, please email Sue Carroll.
