This week in formation, Sunday,March 1,  the adults of the parish will be participating in the Annual Parish Meeting - postponed due to the snow storm last weekend and children will be watching the film, The Prince of Egypt.  Youth are encouraged to attend the annual meeting or assist with the supervision of the children (and enjoy the movie).  Read more details about our formation offerings here,

Children's Formation ... Sharing our Faith
Next week, March 8, the children gather with Michael for music - singing and playing instruments.
Youth Formation ... Growing our Faith
This weekend, Tucker Hemphill, will be attending a Christian discipleship event called Happening in North Carolina.  Please pray for him to have an amazing experience and for safe travel for he and Joel.  I'm sure that he will will have much to share with us and will probably learn some new music for our 9:00 a.m. service.

On March 7-8 a number of youth from our community will be participating in the Welcome Table at the Church of the Epiphany in downtown DC.  They will join other Episcopal youth from Montgomery County to learn about homelessness and poverty in our metro area.

It isn't too early to be thinking about sending your children or youth to camp this summer. I spent a day at the camp for Middle School students last summer. It is a great facility in southern Maryland and it sure looked like everyone was having a great time, learning and growing in faith and the staff was great. The cost for the week is $575 per camper.  You can register online here.

Junior Camp (Rising 4th -6th graders) - July 26-31, 2015.
Middler Camp (Rising 7th- 9th graders) - August 2-7, 2015
Adult Formation ...Living our Faith

Next week, March 8, we will continue our Lenten study through Time: Redeeming the Gift, from the brothers of Society of St. John the Evangelist. The program shares a daily mediation and weekly focus on five words - Stop, Pray, Work, Play and Love - through the lens of Time.  There are short daily videos and reflection questions; as well as the opportunity to share your thoughts and view the experiences of others engaged around the world.  Come and join us for conversation and discuss around these topics. Subscribe to the daily videos here.
