Today's Worship
Leaves that Do Not Wither
(Mixed media art by Sue Carroll)
Dear friends,
Thank you to all who worshipped outdoors at St. Dunstan's this morning! If you were not able to attend in person or online in "real time" today, I have included the link to the recording with this email. Simply click on Sue Carroll's beautiful liturgical art (above), and you will be taken directly to the St. Dunstan's YouTube channel.
Thank you, as well, for your continued patience as your lay leadership and I discern our next steps in our plans for worship in the weeks ahead. The Regathering Team is meeting on Monday evening this week to discuss how best to move forward in light of last week's CDC announcement and the ongoing restrictions imposed by Montgomery County. If you have ideas, requests, or concerns about regathering, please don't hesitate to be in touch with any member of the Team: Carl Adams, Karen Edwards, Frenchie Gogos, Vince Leonard, Rosi Sweeney, or me.
I also hope that many of you will be able to attend worship in person next Sunday, May 23, the Feast of Pentecost. Not only is Pentecost one of the most important feast days in the Christian year - the "birthday of the Church" - but next Sunday also will be the last time that Robin Reed and Mike Brown will be with us before moving back to Florida. Please join us as we commission Robin and Mike for the next leg of their journey and thank them for their many contributions to this parish over the past two years. They have become an important part of this community, and they will be missed.
I wish you a blessed week ahead, and I hope to see you soon.
