Let us spur one another on toward love and good deeds
(Mixed media liturgical art by Sue Carroll)

Dear parishioners and friends:

Yesterday was a great day at St. Dunstan's! If you missed worship, just click on this week's offering by Liturgical Artist-in-Residence Sue Carroll (above) and you will be redirected to the recording. The text of the sermon may be found here. Thanks to the efforts of our fabulous Tech Team (Vince Leonard, Elise Flick, and Andrew Alexander), we were able to livestream the service once again, which was such a blessing. We are committed to ensuring that everyone has access to worship, whether able to attend in person or not.

To that end...We need to deepen our bench of A/V volunteers, so that we can build a rota and the same folks don't have to be "on duty" every Sunday. Won't you consider joining the team? No previous experience is necessary; our veterans will train you. (As the newest recruit - my son - reported after this week's service, "That was cool, Mom!") Why should the teenagers have all the fun? Please consider taking a turn at the controls in the coming weeks! To volunteer, just send me a note to let me know of your interest, and we will set up a time to get you trained. Your help would be greatly appreciated.

I hope that you will take a moment to scroll down to read this week's many announcements. In addition to our Outreach and Adult Formation opportunities, I commend to your attention the "refresh" of our liturgical art exhibit, as well as the approaching deadline (Friday) to order your 2021 Advent Wreath Kit. If you have friends, neighbors, or family members who might like to purchase a kit this year, please feel free to share the pre-sale information with them!

Finally, on behalf of the Vestry and myself, I want to extend profound and sincere thanks to everyone who has made your 2022 financial pledge to St. Dunstan's already. Not only is your support essential to the future of this parish, but it also is a very moving expression of faith. I am inspired by - and grateful for - every one of you!

May the Peace of Christ be always with you,

The Rev. Patricia Phaneuf Alexander, Rector

of St. Dunstan's for the coming year. Materials for the 2022 campaign, "We've Come this Far by Faith," may be downloaded
