Christian formation for all ages at the same time - 9:50 a.m. - will begin on the first Sunday of the new year.  Children will gather
on the lower level and learn the stories of faith through games, activities, music and projects.  Classes will be available for children from age 3 through 5th grade.  Child care will also be available for younger children during this formation time.  Youth in 6th - 12th grades will meet in the youth room for a formation time to seek and ask questions about life and faith in a relaxed and safe way - a "watering station" on the trail.  Adult formation - Dunstan's Dialogues - will gather in the parish hall and for this first season of the year focus on "Lighting the Trail" - how we and others are bringing the light of Christ into our world - here in the diocese, the country and around the world.  The Adult Forum will meet at 9:50 a.m. in the parlor to study aspects of christian faith.
Watch and follow the footsteps to learn more about these great opportunities to hear about how Christ is being made known and how we can help make Christ known in our world.

Please join us in the Parish Hall after each service for refreshments and fellowship.

In the event of bad weather, Sunday service schedule information will be provided after 7:00 a.m. on the recorded telephone message at 301-229-2960.

Wednesday Services

11:30 a.m.
Holy Eucharist with the Healing Rite -- A small, quiet opportunity to worship mid-week and receive the Laying-on-of-Hands and anointing with oil for healing for oneself or others.
7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Wednesday Evening Centering Prayer Meeting
"Be still and know that I am God." Psalm 46:10
Those who seek God through prayer and silent meditation are invited to experience "centering prayer." Centering Prayer is a method of silent, contemplative prayer that prepares one to receive the gift of God's presence. It emphasizes prayer as a personal relationship with God and helps one to respond to the spirit of Christ by consenting to God's presence and action within. The group meets Wednesday evenings from 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. For more information contact Boots Quimby at 301-229-2960 or stdunstans@verizon.net

Holidays and Holy Days

Special worship is offered during Christmas time, Lent, Holy Week, Easter and other feast days. We welcome you to the beauty of Christmas Eve, with carols and Holy Communion. You are also welcome to join us in experiencing the heights and depths of human experience starting with Jesus' triumphal entry on Palm Sunday and leading to his suffering and death on the cross. On Good Friday, we join with our neighbors, Little Flower Roman Catholic Church and Pilgrim Lutheran Church , to walk with Jesus to Calvary . Easter brings the brightness of flowers, joyful hymns, and the victorious message of God's victory over all sin and death.
